of Reggio Calabria summons and organizes the non competitive contest “HYPERGONAR” – Fest Corto Reggio
Calabria;

The
enrolment is free and the participation is open to everybody, without
banning and style or genre.
Every
candidate can take part sending different works (even already
proposed and/or prize-winning in other contests).
Works
from all the world are admitted to the contest and if you use
another language, Italian or English subtitles are requested;

The
short films have to be sent with insured letter and reach the Organizing
Committee no later than the 30th of JJune of the current
year to: Circolo Culturale L’Agorà c/o Aiello dott.
Giovanni, via Palmi 20 - 89132 REGGIO CALABRIA - ITALY.
The insurance charges (not
obligatory) are at the candidates' expenses. Even though the
Organization Committee engages to take care rigorously of the works, it
doesen't take responsibility for any thefts, damages or losses.

Every candidate has to indicate on the DVD
back the title, the author's name, the duration and the year. The authors
are responsible for the content of their own works, even towards the
people and the subjects they represent.
The
duration of the participating works, including the opening and closing
credits, can't exceed 30 minutes.
Please
enclose the following documents to every work:
the
author's complete data (name, surname, place and date of birth,
address, telephone and fax number, e-mail, biography and filmography);
the application form entirely filled in and undesigned;

photo of the film;

passport photo of the director;
the
works' synopsis;
the
author's bio-artistic card and any other useful document for the work
selection;
the list of the diaalogues in Italian, French or
English if the film is in a language different from italian;
the
acquittance, undrsigned by the author, allowing the possible
transmission, partial or total, on pubblic or private broadcasting
stations with no limits in space and time;
the
not Italian films have the show Italian or English subtitles.
All
the above-said elements have to be explicity expressed otherwise all
the applications for the admission not in keeping with the
regulation will be automatically excluded.
The
data sent by the authors will be treated, according to the articles 7 and
11 of the Law 675/96, and with the conditions better specified in the
participation form and kept in the Organizing Association's data bank.

The works whose content is considered against the
Organizing Association's principles and values by the Organizing Committee
will be excluded. Such decision will be unappealable.

6
The Organizing Committee, omce concluded its own task, will
indicate with a relevant verbal the prizeworthy works and it will briefly
justify the final judgement for everey proposed work.
It
could also mention, with a relative formal explanation, other culturally
and socially worthy works;

The selected works will be
shown to the audience during the current edition of the “HYPERGONAR” – Fest Corto Reggio
Calabria at a date and place which will be communicated later.

The selected works will be given a prize that the Organizing
Committee will award by virtue of its own availabilities. The prizes will
be given during a relevant Manifestation whose mmodalities, time and place
will be communicated later and they can be withdrawn by the author or a
delegate of his/hers.
The works participating in the contest won't be given back
and will be part of the Association's archives. They will be used with the
esclusive intention to be studied, not for profit and the films could be
object of retrospectives. With the application from the author and/or the
production authorize the use of all or of a part of the work sent with the
only purpose to promote the festival (including the partial or total
broadcasting on public or private stations);
Every
candidate makes over to the Festival, without adverse party, the rights of
photography reproductions or abstracts of the productions sent for a
duration of less than 3 minutes for the Festival promotion: press, T.V.
channels, Internet or any other medium chosen by the Organizing Committee.
On
the same works the Association reserves the right of publishing them with
any medium and with no limits of time.
Such
right can be directly exercised by the Organizing Association or by people
or institutions delegated on prupose, in any moment and without limits of
prescription, without and fee for the author.

The present regulation is published on the Organizing
Association's website and it is assumed to be allowed and accepted by all
the candidates.
Then,
the simple participation to the Manifestation, involves the implicit
knowledge of the present regulation and in any case, the Organizing
Committee will take a decision and its judgement is final and unappealable.
The present regulation is translated into French and
Italian too.
In
case of interpretative problems the italian version bears witness.

FORM
(to
be enclosed to the short film with the candidate's complete data: name,
surname, place and date of birth, address, telephone and fax number and
e-mail)
The
undersigned, according to the articles 7 and 11 of the Law 675/96,
declares to be completely informed about the purprose and method of the
treatment of the data consciously indicated in the form and he/she
authorizes their recording in the Festival's data bank.
